Title: Goldrush Death at Kyneton
Post by: riversideresearch on Sunday 03 July 11 20:32 BST (UK)
I am looking for a death/burial record for George Edward Barlow.
Died 17th January 1865 late of Kyneton, Victoria. Died Lauraville Murray District. Is this a differnt place or just the district Kyneton is in?
He originally came from Manchester, Lancashire, England and was married to Fanny Barlow of Southport, Lancashire who applied for the probate.

Thank you if you can help in any way.

The town named 'Lauraville' is now known as 'Gaffneys Creek' the name was changed in 1900.

'Late of Kyneton' would mean his 'previous residence'.

The distance between Kyneton-Lauraville (Gaffneys Creek) is about 280kms.

His death certificate would show his place of burial and his usual place of residence.
