Thanks very much Sean. So I take it there's nothing on the manner of death or
Coroners claim on this one then?
-
No manner of death. Coroners claim was £1 19s 6d.
-
Thanks again Sean.

Hi Sean,
Could I ask please for a look up for the name ALDERTON please. (The Aldertons were related to the Slatters but I would be cheeky asking for two lookups) ;)
-
Finally made it to half term, so have time to reply!
28 Oct 1786 Newhaven. Alice Alderton hanged herself
13 Apr 1767 Newhaven. Thomas Alderton jn drowned
1 Feb 1764 Place Omitted Mr John Slatter accidentally by a fall from his horse
10 Apr 1811 Mountfield Thomas Slatter fell in a fit and instantly died
29 Jul 1768 Place Omitted William Slatter died of a fall
Quite a few Aldertons and Slatters appear as Jurors in the Battle area.
Hope that helps
Sean
