I posted a message on here a couple of weeks ago regarding a member of my grandfather's family......I had reached a blank wall trying to find her descendants. Well I still haven't found these descendants BUT I have now found a family member on my grandmother's side who has loads of info on her family. How fantastic is that?
I'm floating on a cloud at this discovery. Don't ya just love the internet?

Yep!
Am really pleased for you - it's always so exciting when this happens.
Congratulations, and ENJOY! ;D

Congratulations NIFTFIFTY47!!! How exciting.
Don't forget to confirm what's in the the FH before uploading it. Speaking form experience, I did that and then had to spend hours & hours going back and removing & correcting. It would have been so much easier if I'd just verified as I went.
I'm really happy for you - just cautious.

I've been researching family history for about 30 years now so I realise the pitfalls!!! I have "done" my maternal Grandmother's FH back to 1547. I have my paternal Grandfather back to 1805 and now this is my paternal grandmother's FH.
Thanks for the warning though. :-)

That's great NiftyFifty :) I have hit a couple blank walls and ask myself at times, perhaps I should let it all go. But hey ho, onwards we go :)

Never let go....sure what's one or two blank walls along the way. I still haven't lost hope on my brick wall....just hoping someone will hand me the sledgehammer some day!!!

What I love about this forum is----apart from help, every inch of the way someone out there will offer advice and help point me- or you in the right direction, and IF there is a breakthrough,I have found so many forum members are delighted--- for cracking that awful stumbling block-we all seem to have in this puzzle of our families.
I could name so many forum members who have gee-ed me up when I thought all was lost--I will not,cos they know who they are!!,and they are always there for those of us--who have lost their way.
Thank You
Elsa-Mary
