A Fanny Kitney (perhaps meant to be Kidney) was baptised in Detling Kent 1798 to John and Elizabeth. I would like to know if anyone has a marriage for her or knowledge that she died before marriage/ never married. I have looked on the IGI and on a website dedicated to the Kidney/ Kitney familys of Kent. I am trying to rule her out (or not) as a possible ancestor of mine. That is a Fanny who married a Thomas Brisley. She was born according to the census in Detling. Census age and age at death suggest a birth date around this time. I have ruled out a Fanny Gomery from the same village. I cannot find my Fanny's marriage so far and am trying to find her maiden name. Thanks.

The Mid Kent Marriages Index has a marriage for a Frances KITNEY to George Southerden ALLMAN 11th November 1821 at neighbouring Thurnham.

Thanks, Jasonswills. It now doesn't look like I am related to any Kidneys or Kitneys. :'( Best wishes and good luck with research into all yours.
