Title: Fraser Families Tarbatness Point
Post by: barbzwire on Monday 27 June 11 04:06 BST (UK)
I am looking for people who are related or familiar with the Fraser family near Portamhomack, Scotland and more specifically Tarbatness Point. David Fraser was my great-grandfather and lived next to the lighthouse. He was born in 1841 and died in 1892. He was married to Williamina Michael. They had 10 children.  My grandmother, Margaret Elizabeth Fraser, who was born 1886, was one of their daughters. It is possible to go back in time to David's father, David Fraser, born 1798 and married Johanna McKenzie. I can not find any records for David, (1798) other than his death record. There is no listing of siblings or parents other than his father's name was Donald Fraser and his mother's name was Margaret. I have been stuck on this for so many years I am about to give up looking for further information. Is there any information available? Thanks. Barbara
