Title: Donovan Mss
Post by: cyclamen on Thursday 23 June 11 15:27 BST (UK)
I have recently been sent a family tree at the top of which was written "Donovan Mss" and a page number. There was another jotting which said the tree was in an envelope of pedigrees. Is anyone able to tell me more about the Donavan pedigrees? I am presuming they can be accessed in the National Archives?

I looked online at the national archives website - searching yielded 310 matches of documents with "donovan" in them - perhaps you can narrow these down online before checking further?

Hi,
The PRONI e-Catalogue (Northern Ireland) has 69 entries for "Donovan".

Thanks! There is also a possibility that these pedigrees are in Armagh Museum. Some of the other papers I was given came from there. I think I will just have to start and work my way through the two websites.

Do you mean Armagh County Museum, Regimental Museum or the Armagh Public Library?

Online, searchable catalogue for Library here-
