I wonder if anyone can help. I'm trying to Identify the individuals in the photographs.
I suspect its my Great Grandfather Patrick Byrne and his brother Albert.
Can anyone confirm If this is the unifom of The Royal Dublin Fusiliers.
Would this be World War 1 Uniform.
Any idea what rank they would be.

Not WW1I'm afraid, but members of the Irish Free State Army...The FF badge is quite patent...
I'm sure that some of our cousins over the water will be in soon to point you in the right direction for records! ;D

Can you show full view of the first picture.
The second picture looks akin to my grandfather
and his brother Thomas Byrne and Christopher Byrne,
The uniform is of Commdt in 1916 which my grandfather
was upgraded to in the volunteers.
