Title: Joseph ELLIS arrived in Australia in 1923
Post by: jce99id on Saturday 18 June 11 15:57 BST (UK)
I am trying to find out more about Joseph Ellis. My great uncle Joe. He was born in West Bromwich, England in 1904

He left the Port of London for Melbourne on the 29th March 1923 on board the SS Beltana. I have a passenger P&O passenger list but this is the only info I have. I've searched a few of the passengers list sites in Australia but to no avail. I'd like to find out more about him once in Australia, who he married, children, where he lived, death etc.

If anyone has any suggestions or info I'd be most grateful.

Thanks

Who were his parents? They appear on the Austrailian death indexes and it might be an easier way to track him down.

His parent were Henry and Sarah Ellis. They did not travel to Australia with him. He was 19 when he left.
