I am trying to find the marriage of Edward Feltham to Louisa Larsen said to be in Townsville in 1908. Later I believe they lived in Ravenswood where Edward Feltham worked in the Mines,.
Any help appreciated.

Do you need the exact date or is the year near enough?
The C indicates it was a country event, as you say.

The date is 14 January 1907.
You can confirm this by going to the website and putting that date in and you'll get the reference Leanne gave you.

Thankyou for the date. I have tried various sites including the one Leanne mentioned but hadn't had any luck. I haven't had to do much searching of Qld. BDM for years. Can the Place of Marriage be found or do you have to apply for a Certificate to find that out?
Fancy getting married in N.Q. in mid-summer!

Sorry Mama/Marg for the delay in replying. Have been away.
Some things can't wait for the weather to improve! ;D ;D ;D ;D
You may find something in a report in a newspaper, but not sure how easy it would be, in Townsville.
Local paper is the "Townsville Bulletin" which presumably was in publication in 1907.
Otherwise, yes the only way I know of would be to get the actual certificate. Is it vital to know which church or whatever, if you already know it's Townsville?
