Hi
I am looking for info on my Clarke and Judd families from Winterslow. I have a Solomon Clarke who was born 15/11/1772 and he married in 1801 a lady by the name of Judd. She was either Mary or Maria.
I know they had 8 children but I cant seem to find out about this Miss Judd.
Can anyone help at all please?

Hello,
In case you haven't found it yet, the marriage of Solomon Clarke and Mary Judd occurred at Winterslow 28 Nov 1801.
This fact is listed in IGI Batch No. 7722733.
Have you seen the film of the parish registers for Winterslow?

Sophia (b 1799) Judd was the daughter of Richard Judd (b. abt 1768) and Christian Stone (1763 - 1806). They had nine children: Elizabeth, John, Phyllis, Richard, Charles, Isaac, Sophia, Sarah and a second Isaac. I have all dates, too, if you would like them. As I understand it, Richard married Catherine Parrick in 1783 but had nine children by Christian Stone whom he eventually married in 1800. There were in all 12 children, but three names are missing. Richard Judd's grandfather, Thomas, was my 5x great grandfather. Hope that helps - Chris

Do you have any information about Frederick Judd who married Hannah Walton at St.George's Hanover Square, London on the 16th January 1812, both of the Parish. Witness Richard Brown and Anne Trollope.
In the 1851 Census they are living at Hatton, Bedfont, Hounslow, Staines, Middlesex. He is aged 68, occupation Gardener ( may be Market Gardener or Nurseryman). Born Winterslow, Wiltshire.
He was buried on the 11th December 1853 aged 73 at St.Mary the Virgin, Bedfont, Hounslow by Henry Thomas Liveing?, Vicar of the Parish of Bedfont.
She was buried at Bedfont on the 1st May 1851, aged 80 living at 113 Hatton, Hounslow, by J.Benson Parish Curate and he notes that her grave adjoins the West Wall.
Thanks

I'm wondering if the quote is a bit misplaced? Are you asking for help with Frederick Judd?
