Title: Suffocation while attempting to what??
Post by: portybelle on Friday 17 June 11 11:47 BST (UK)
Can anyone make out what this cause of death is? Thanks.

(PS - if someone could explain to me who to put a small bit of a cert on I'd be grateful as I have a few mysteries to solve just now!)

Vomit?  sorry it's very poor but that's about the best I can do.

I'd say vomit, too.

That's one reason why they say to put an unconscious person on their side, so if they vomit they can't inhale it back in and choke themselves.

Thank you - it's all clear now! Makes sense as at least two others of this family have died from 'intemperance and excessive drinking'! Looks like another one then.  ;D

Agreed, the most common cause of death whilst intoxicated I believe.
