The Property Market section of The Times Oct 18, 1965 has a picture of Sowden House, Courtlands Lane, Lympstone + an article about the history of the house.
Have also found a couple of newspaper items about the Williams of Sowden (John, Jane, Thomas, Thomas Hobbs and Frances Elizabeth).
Have sent a PM

Hello
I am interested in the information you have found about the Williams family and Sowden House for an essay I am writing for my genealogy degree. Please, would you be able to let me have the information?
Thank you very much

Times article. On reflection, wonder why a photo requested when you can see the real thing on Streetview?
Are you seeking the info. from the originator of this thread?

Hello
Thank you very much for the cuttings. You mentioned the following: Have also found a couple of newspaper items about the Williams of Sowden (John, Jane, Thomas, Thomas Hobbs and Frances Elizabeth).
Do you have that information, please? It would really help my essay for my MSc.
Thank you once again

Two items snipped from newspapers - Exeter Flying Post, 17 May 1804 and sun (London), 4 Jul 1822
Just read your latest post - no, I don't have the information I provided June 2011 but am casting around again. Have posted 2 items which possibly weren't available at that time.
Question - are you only interested in the William's period?

This snippet doesn't name the property to let but the timing fits the May 1804 advert already posted? It's from the same edition.

Not identified as "your" John, but possibly/likely him?

Again, not identified as "your" John but a strong possibility? Again, contributing to an appeal -
