Im heading into plymouth records office this afternoon to do some research of my own tree, I will look at the parish records and see if I can find the entry for the marriage that way at least there will be a fathers name, although I did find this christening record which if it is from the other post with census could be him (from family search)
John Yeo 12 Oct 1794 Stoke Damerel,Devon
parents Edward Yeo and Ann

Hi, Just got back from PRO and luckily I found a copy of the marriage from April 1820 at Charles Church, unfortunately back then it didnt show parents but there was one other Yeo mentioned being a witness alongside Wm Palkinghorn and she (i believe) was called Marey Ann Yeo, I didn't get much time in there to look due to it being busier than any other times I have been in there, and have also got this from family search
Edward Yeo
England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975
residence: Devon, England
parents: Edward Yeo, Ann
Mary Ann Yeo
England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975
residence: Devon, England
parents: Edward Yeo, Ann
Betsy Yeo
England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975
death: 28 Feb 1798
residence: Devon, England
parents: Edward Yeo, Ann
John Yeo
England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975
residence: Devon, England
parents: Edward Yeo, Ann
these were all baptised in same church in Stoke Damerell, there are 2 others that show with parents called Edward and Ann but they were from Holsworthy so whether or not they lived there originally I dont know

oops also meant to say (and I don't know if it does have any relevance on this family) In Plymouth, Debenhams had 2 buildings one was the Spooner building and the other was Yeo, and have just looked it up as it was niggling at me, but it does look like it is a seperate family called Yeo
