Title: COMPLETED- Balloughton graveyard? is there one?
Post by: Katharine75 on Tuesday 14 June 11 04:28 BST (UK)
Can anyone tell me if there are graves at Balloughton near Kilcavan in Co.Wexford? Are there any transcriptions or burial registers for the CofI for that townland?
Thanks, Katharine.

The townland of Balloughton is in the civil and Church of Ireland parish of Kilcavan - see : Kilcavan (http://www.libraryireland.com/topog/K/Kilcavan-Bargy-Wexford.php)   (Lewis 1837)

I dont see any mention of Kilcavan records on the RCB Handlist, but Cantwells Memorial Inscriptions does include two graveyards named Kilcavan   - see : http://www.iancantwell.com/BrianCantwellMemorials.html

Thanks for that. I was thinking it would be a separate church to Kilcavan, but it would seem they are one and the same. Katharine.

Yes, there is a churchyard at Ballougton Church of Ireland Church, Wellington Bridge, Wexford.  I`ve been there and have family buried there.
