i have been trying to find out about my great grandfather who came to england from ireland his name was michael dixon or diskey how do i find out information on what ship he came over on and what port he came into all i know is he came over about 1860 and lived in wolverhampton i dont know where he lived in ireland  thankyou anyone

He won't be on any ship's manifest as Ireland did not exist as a separate state.

Start with finding any marriage(s) to get a father and witness names.

Is your Michael the one who is at Rough Hill Lane, Wolverhampton in 1871?  Married to Elizabeth (aged 35) with children:
James (16)
Mary I (14)
William (11)
John (7)
Ellen (3)
Elizabeth (9 months)

Same family in 1881 RG11; Piece: 2806; Folio: 108; Page: 38.

If this is the right family, it suggests that Michael came over earlier that 1860 (unless Elizabeth had children from a previous relationship)
