Hannah Eggleshaw, Dau, 4, b. Basford Notts

Think "F W K" against Mary Ann might be abbreviation of "Frame Work Knitter"
Possibly your Mary A Eggleshaw?

hello,
I have done quite a lot of research on this family (quite some time ago) for a friend.
If my memory serves me well one of the Walkers went to America and (I think) her daughter became Clint Eastwoods first wife.
There is also a plot of land (which once was in my family before it was sold) at langley which possibly still belongs to the Walker family
I'll see if I still have any information -I may have passed it all on.
I think Isaiah lived at mapperley village at one time
This is just from memory (which isn't as good as it once was-so I may have it wrong) so I will try to find documents

You may have noticed Jeremiah Walker (son age 4mths in 1861) does not appear with family in 1871/1881
He didn't die young !!!
He is with his grandparents - Jeremiah and Sarah Eggleshaw- in 1871/1881
I think it is Jeremiah (or his son -or maybe his grandson -) who owned (and although deceased many years I think it still belongs to him) the piece of land at langley

Just found a few notes -it was Jeremiah Walker son of Arthur Walker(who was your Isaiah's brother) who owned the land at Langley
He died in 1965

For the Walkers I had loads of info -newspaper reports etc - but have passed most to my friend - she has moved houuse recently - and I don't have her new number but I may see her before too long and will ask her if she has anything to hand
