I'm going through old (and middleaged) family photos at the minute.
I'm trying to date them, and then scan them.
I have a number of photos of a wedding of a family member (1967-1968ish), and I'd first like to work out whether it took place in Lusaka or Cape Town (the only places she lived in the 1960s). The family seems evenly divided on this matter!
The photos are in folders marked ...

Claremont
maybe someone knows an area "Claremont" in one of these cities? I'd be most grateful!

I'm pretty sure there's a Claremont in Cape Town, SA :)

Claremont is one of the southern suburbs of Cape Town.
There is a Station Road there, but I don't know of a Station Road Arcade. Much development has taken place in this area since the 1960's.
I also had a quick look in the local phone book for a photographic shop 'Van Berkel', but came up with nothing.

thanks for that both of you. Now I need someone to tell me there's no Claremont in Lusaka!

Just one point Lusaka is the capital of Zambia not Rhodesia ;D

Oh fool I am "DoH" :-X
It was Northern Rhodesia pre 1964

Having been frequently both to Lusaka and to Cape Town I can assure you that it is Claremont in the Cape.

thanks Hackstaple.
So now I need to figure out South African Wedding Certs, maybe.
It's not madly urgent, I suppose, since I know the approximate date of the wedding - I even have 28 photos!
This one shows the church - R.C. (maybe someone will recognise it)
