could this be your Michael with his mother and sister on the 1901 census ?
Gill household, Kilpatrick townland (http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Kildare/Kilpatrick/Killinagh_Lower/1438326/)
and the same family with just Michael and his mother Ellen in 1911 :
Gill household, Kilpatrick townland (http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Kildare/Kilpatrick/Killanagh__Lower/541087/)

for notes on Irish research see : Introduction to Irish Records (http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,442233.0.html)
I think I would start with a check of slightly more recent details, as in a birth cert for your grandfather - presumably one of the children of Michael Gill and Miss Leeson.
Once you have confirmed her full name it's much easier to find a marriage for them..
