Title: Cannon's bike shop Dumfries

Can anyone tell me where Cannon's bike shop was in Dumfries.   My father said he used to go and visit the Cannon's and that they had a bike shop in English Street, Dumfries.  My gggrandmother was Anne Cannon and she married a James McGeorge from Kirkgunzeon.  The shop must have been there around the 1930-1940s.

I have looked up the 1911 Dumfries Ditrict Directory and found:
Cannon J&J cycle agents - 83 English Street.
