I really like this picture and hope you will too. Can you give it some TLC please to restore it to what it was?
Striped socks again!
If anyone would like to add a gentle colour touch too please feel free.
Thanks
Rapunzel :)

Once again - sorry for the delay in answering.
You have all done really fabulous work - thank you all very much. Those with colour have been done so gently and beautifully and fit into the time and mood perfectly.
I agree with you Caroline - I too am overwhelmed by all these wonderful family things we have found (pics, letters, a 1916 diary, documentation etc).
This has made me realize that if leaving photos for future generations it is important to leave as much information with them as possible too. 'Aunt May 1897' is better than nothing, but if you've got some bits about her life to go with that how much more interesting and personal she becomes.
We (my husband and I) are putting together an album for each line and including all these things of importance or interest plus, of course, all the wonderful restores done on this site.

Hi Rapunzel...No you didn't...it's my software...Caz told me her software read the scan at 300dpi...It happens a lot to me and others...the Gremlins seem to cause mischief between it's journey from Roots to my P.C ;D....I downloaded from the paper clip too ::)
