Look up required for an obituary of Dr Thomas Crichton Taylor of 5 Douglas Square, Newcastleton who died Jan 13 1903
He was born 1829 at Elliesland Dunscore, Dumfries ( his mother died at his birth)  he married in 1852 Mary Ann Eskdale.
His twin brother John McKinnel Taylor was also a Doctor

I don't have an obituary but, when I was doing a lookup for a different rootschatter, I did find the transcription of his headstone in Castleton Churchyard.  Send me a PM if you like and I will send you the details.

For the obituary - I tried a search on the Scotsman archive but no luck.  Have you tried contacting the Borders FHS?
