Hi all you artistic types :) Could you please work your magic on the attached photo? I think it's pretty clear already but a little colour would be wonderful.
The Groom's mother (on the left) wore green, Bride's bouquet was yellow roses, Bride's mother wore light blue/grey, Matron of Honour wore blue sprigged dress and the bridesmaids were in a very pale blue.
Date was September 1952 in case anyone's trying to date a similar photo.
Thanks in advance, Heather :D
p.s. Darn the file's too big :'( It's in pdf format at the mo and scanned at 600 dpi but if I crop it or copy/paste into paint it'll probably lose quality. Is it possible to mail it to one of you clever folk please?
p.p.s. Two very kind people have helped me with this now, hopefully the photo will soon appear :) I love this place ;D

If any of you clever restorers have a moment, could you have a go at colouring this photo please? I've given an indication of the original colours in my first post.
Many thanks in advance

I showed the bride and groom your beautiful colour versions yesterday evening and they were absolutely delighted and transported back over 60 years to their wedding day! The photos really brought back memories including some more details of colours. The Matron of Honour's bouquet was pink carnations and the bridesmaids had asters in various shades of pink, purple and white. Father of the bride wore a grey tie but the groom can't remember what colour his was!
Thank you both so much for making their day (and mine :D )

Hi Heather,
Do you know the colour of the Matron of Honour's head-dress? Blue or Pink?
Sally

Hi Sally, just checked with the bride and she's not certain, but we guess it was most likely blue to go with the dress :)
Thanks! Heather
