Trying to find out a bit about a house in Mold. It is no longer there but was called Rose Ville, Chester Road , Mold.
I think it but have been built early 1900's or even late 1800's.
Any information would be gratefully received.

The street directories for Mold would tell you the resident(s) of this house for most years arounf the late 19th century, or early 20th century. The other possibility is the Electoral Rolls. These itmes would be held in the Flinsthire Record office and library in Mold.
It would also be possible to do a search on the census returns to see who was living there in 1891 and 1901. Can you provide names and details of people you are seeking?

Hi Jo, I did not know street directories existed! I live in mold and a lot of my ancestors lived in Mold too. I would be very interested to see these publications. E.g. I have census data that shows street names but not always house numbers.
Initially I will pay a visit to Mold library. Thanks you for this information Jo

Hello Wrexthedragon,
The library in Mold has a wealth of material relating to family history and local matters. They have transcriptions of the parish registers for many places too.
The other place you would find it worthwhile to visit is the Record office in Hawarden. They hold even more records etc there.
Should you have any ancestors by the name of Roberts in Mold, then we could well be related.

Visited Mold Library recently (now all in the Town Library - one by Shire Hall no longer open) but they had no knowledge of street directories only trade directories! Disappointed!

Just seen this query. Some commercial or trade directories have names and addresses for "Nobility, clergy and gentry" as well as the tradesmen. If it was a big house there may be something there. Anyone who had a bit of money could call themselved 'Gent'
