Title: Help - Trying to find parents

Hello,

I am trying to find the parents of Judith Foster born abt 1829 in Clapham, Settle, Yorkshire.

I have located the 1841 census where she is living with James and Elizabeth Townson both aged 25 and I believe their 10month old son Robert.

I also found the 1851 through to 1901 census returns also her Marriage to John Hesleden (Labourer) in 1859. I have a copy of the marriage certificate but her father is not named, her husband's father isThomas Hesleden (Game Keeper). By Banns Married in the Parish Church in Clapham, Witnesses : Sarah Ann Foster & John Sharp.

Can anybody help please.

Have you not checked the IGI first?  There is an entry for her in 1828 - mother Betty

Baptism/Christening Judith Foster 30th November 1828 Clapham, Yorks. Mother Betty.
