Have found a baptism and it states that the father was from Over, baptism was in Lassington 1747 , were Over records taken in another parish such as Linton or Churcham ?

Lassington parish records do exist at Gloucestershire Archives
Baptisms 1655-1956
Marriages 1663-1947
Burials 1663-1966
Banns 1824-1947

I have relatives from Over, all their baptisms took place at Lassington.

The Forest of Dean Family History Society has baptisms for Lassington, Linton and Churcham, it's a free site all you need do is register
