Hello,

Any kind soul that could find John Hack Thraves b. 1821 Holywell Lincolnshire and most likely in Stretton Rutland in 1841.

That's it re info, so I understand if there is no find but thanks for all your effort in trying to help me out.

Thankyou once again Mike you have done a brilliant job on all my family connections in Leicester and Rutland. It has been so frustrating not having access to the 1841 and 1851 census and I hate to ask people to go out of their way to look these things up for me.

Sorry I cannot see him in the Stretton 1841 census.  The quality is quite poor with this one though.  Couldn't spot him out of 220 people :-(

I did however find this if it helps

Birth record 1859 John Thraves, he died in 1943, he married Laura Medwell 1897 (Stretton)

Father John Hack Thraves, Mother Mary Dring

John and Laura had a daughter

Jessie Thraves
 Birth:  1906  <Stretton, Rutland, England>
Christening:     
Death:  DEC 1997

Perhaps John Hack was still in Lincolnshire in 1841 prior to moving to Rutland.
