Come on folks - choose just one face to repair please. I am at present mending bodies and the odd face. Lets combine on this one hey?
-
Will also give it a try.

A glimps of work in progress.
I realise this is a bit outside the box but maybe if we all pull together a good result will be had.
Fell free to experiment with this.

Here's the lady on the left Mike. ;D
Bill. ;)

My poor effort
As before feel free to add your changes. The final result is what matters.

Glad it's elicited the attention it deserves Roy. It's a lovely photo and it looks as though the restorers are doing you proud!

I hope this is ok for you.
As I say I'm a novice, but it is a great pic and sad to see it so dilapidated.
Maybe someone will do you a better version. :D

Thanks Denise
It's a lovely job you have done considering the bad state the original is in.

Hi Irene
Many thanks for a job well done; its been said a pity this photo has not received the love it deserves, it has now, been brought back to life and will be cared for. All I need do now is try and put names to the faces?

Hi Roy
Well, didn't I have a disaster with this one. Four hours in to the restore last night and Photoshop freezes on me and I get "Sorry Photoshop has encountered an error and has to close". All well and good, but I was so absorbed in the photo that I completely forgot to save. :'(
Anyway, after much swearing :P, I started again, but I have to admit I was not as careful the second time around as my patience was just about exhausted. :(
Regards
Caroline

Hi Caroline
Ever one is a winner and I am very grateful for all who have made the effort to bring this lovely photo back to life. How I wish I was as skillful.
Kind Regards

Hi Roy
When I said 'Mess of Cracks' I wasn't referring to the poor condition by neglect of the owner but just its condition as seen > I have loads like that- time/age is the culprit as handed down the generations.
Sorry! my if my post gave any offence
Dobby :)

Hi Dobby
No offence taken, I was merely saying the photo so badly damaged has been brought back to life by the good people on this site who worked so hard to restore it. If anything I would agree the photo has been badly treated but now that it is in my hands I will treat it with respect.
Thanks for your help
Roy
