Welcome to Rootschat. A John Sutherland and family were living at 19 Killarney Street in 1911- house #26 on census form-
www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Antrim/Court_Ward/Killarney_Street/149152
In 1901 they are living with his father James in Ballykennedy townland-

Thank You, Yes John Sutherland, would have been my mothers Grandfather, it's confusing because the Mcknights also lived in Killarney street Belfast, for a time, and it looks like that's where her mother met her father.

Abigail,
The following is speculative but may be relevant.
29 Nov 1899 John Sutherland married Jane Graham in Dundrod Presbyterian Church, Co. Antrim. Fathers' names were James Sutherland and James Graham.
John Alexander Sutherland was born on 9 Oct 1872 to James Sutherland and Jane Anna Porter in Crumlin, Co.Antrim. James Sutherland and Jane Porter married on 11 Jul 1871 in Killead Presbyterian Church, Co. Antrim. Fathers were John Sutherland and Samuel Porter.

1901 census-

Thanks
Unfortunately not because she married in 1895 to William Flynn
And the census puts them in
1901 Residents of a house 112 in Lisburn Road (Windsor, Antrim)
1911 Residents of a house 4 in Culcavy (Maze, Down)
Thanks for pointing out it was Amelia, just totally misread the old handwriting and got something like Cornelia
thanks
Magheragall
Shall have to go back and look again at records for a birth in 1865
