Hi ,
I am trying to find out about my great great grandparents marriage . John Rowsome married Margaret Doyle from Newbawn , Co. Wexford in 1856 . As this was before civil registration began , I am hitting a brick wall .
I contacted the priest in Newbawn and also the parish priest in Adamstown without any luck . They are listed in the 1901 census as living in Oulartard which is near Monageer .
Any help would be greatly appreciated . ;)
Dotod .

Unfortunately Co. Wexford parish records are not available online anywhere at the moment.
Where are you based ?
Historic records for the RC parish of Adamstown are held by the National Library, and are available to view on microfilm Pos. 4258. These cover baptisms from 1807, and marriages from 1849. There are some gaps - particularly in the baptisms.

Hi Shane ,
Thank you for replying so quickly !! I am based in Co. Wexford , near Enniscorthy .
Due to work commitments , I dont get much time for research . My cousin found the above marriage record on a Mormon website . I presumed they married in Newbawn because she was from there also presuming John was from the Monageer area , where they are living in 1901 .
They are the last link I have on that side . Maybe they were both from Newbawn area and moved to Monageer later .

Thank you very much limerickmick and Tomahurra for your replies and brilliant info . I have since learned that this might have been a mixed marriage ...at some stage , the Rowsomes were Quakers , so I dont know where to search now !! In Familysearch.org , I have located the births of several of this couples children , but the source origin for them is Ireland -EASY , and Im not sure if the G.R.O. has access to these .
Thanks again for your help . The search goes on :o
