As they married in 1868 have you found them on the 71,81,91 ???  if so we need the information to try and find them in 1901 .

Do you have their marriage certificate  ???

Havent had any luck yet in 1901 but checking the death records is looks as if Edwin died in 1904 in Bristol  so they must be somewhere.

I suspect the surname has been mis transcribed

Hi,

See what you think to this for the family, excluding Edwin in 1901.

Christopher Nutt, age 10, b. Wincanton, but living in Bristol.

RG13/2388, Folio 80, Page 7

Kind regards,

Pels. :)

The family were living in Wincanton in 1891  :)

RG12; Piece: 1903; Folio 97; Page 23;

Looks as if Annie dident die until 1914

Pels, I have been staring at that one trying to work it out, some bits fit, others dont, but no Edwin  ???

1901, 25 Chaplin Rd, Bristol
Clin Nutt, (female) head, married, b. 1848 Manchester
Frank Nutt, son, b. 1885 Bristol  (Frank b 1886 Bristol, in the 1891)
Clin Nutt, daur, b. 1889 Bristol (could be Clarinda b 1888, in the 1891)
Christopher Nutt, son, b. 1891 Wincanton  (same as 1891)

Original images does seem to read Clin

With the exception of the 1891 census, the other returns claim Ann was born in Lancashire, also the children fit in with the 1891.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't the right family !  :-\

Hi Pels, I had only compared it with 1891, I agree it does look very likely.

Still looking for Edwin

I,ve tried searching for Edwin putting every single letter of the alphabet in front of UTT and every vowel in the middle of N -TT. :(

Patrish,  I tried all sorts of wildcards too, then I thought I'd just search anyone called Edwin b. 1847 +/- 5 years in Bristol, hoping to see a likely mistranscription - nothing  ::)

Maybe he was working away from home and the people he was staying with gave the wrong name.
