Hello,
Does anyone have access to the PR's for Hardwick?
I am seeking the marriage of a Joseph Kempster about 1824, to a Martha (surname unknown).
I am also seeking a burial record for a William Kempster, possibly in 1854.
Thanks in anticipation,
Darren

Thank you so much for the prompt response, Peter.
That gives me another link now, with Martha's surname. The William isn't the one I was looking for, however. That William was the son of Joseph and Martha. I am looking for the burial of William, Joseph's father. According to freebmd, there was a William registered in 1854 in the correct district, as well as William in 1855.
I guess I will have to check the 1861 census.
Once again, thanks.

The next burial of a William is quite a bit later:-
Burial - 5 Apr 1868 William KEMPSTER aged 90 of Weedon
If you haven'y already done so you might try Bucks FHS searches. They are not very expensive and I think represent good value.

Once again thank you for the info, and I will have a look at the site you mentioned.
By the way, that is the right man this time. Trust him to live on!
Cheers,
Darren

I dont have their off-spring, but William was son of William b 1737 Aston Abbotts, nr Aylesbury+ Ann Deverell c1737 - 1782 who had 6 other children. I have much more on the - my mother's - family.
