Title: 1871 Census Kings Norton

I am interested in William Grear and the Welch? family he is staying with. I do not believe they are kin.
I was hoping to find him living with his mother (Emily) and Step father (LWB Leopold Zimmermann)
This might not be 'my' William, but hope springs eternal.

Oh Shame

I don't think this is he.

My William was born in Notting Hill, London.
His father died c 1862 and his mother remarried to a Mr L W B Leopold ZIMMERMANN.

Now you would think, that with a name like that that they would be easy to find.
He was a school teacher who may have gone home to the continent

Many thanks for taking the time to help, at least I know now.
