Hullo SarainR, I believe Coxhoe may have come under the deanery of Segefield.
The Church is around 160 years old and many of its areas previous records were transcribed to there.
As I am not sure you could try the Durham bishops Transcripts available on the IGI site. They can be googled.

Hullo SarainR, I believe Coxhoe may have come under the deanery of Segefield.
The Bishop's Transcripts for Sedgefield only go up to 1854. However Coxhoe was Kelloe St. Helen up to 1868, then Coxhoe St. Mary from 1868. The Bishop's Transcripts for Kelloe only go up to 1852. http://www.durhamrecordoffice.org.uk/recordoffice/dro.nsf/vwebplaces can help you to determine which Church of England parish a County Durham place/settlement was situated in, at any given date.
