Title: McBay and Watson of middleton in teesdale
Post by: 50sqnwopag on Sunday 08 May 11 19:26 BST (UK)
 Evenin,
I've found out that some relatives of mine were born and lived in the Mill and Greatham House (?) of said village, one of them A C McBay (my gt uncle) was latter was KIA in the RAF, his home address was the Mill but his name is not on the local war memorial and was wondering if this could be rectified and who would I need to contact?
Also his Uncle J Watson (whose grave I can't find in the local cem, but found J watsons parents graves) had a daughter (I don't know her name or whether she lives locally or is still alive).
Would anyone know the best place or person (any local historians in the town?) to try tracking her down if still alive?

thanks

mat
