Title: Samuel of Wrexham (Regis)
Post by: ptginct on Tuesday 03 May 11 00:24 BST (UK)
Good evening,

I am looking for some additional information re: David Samuel (born approx 1800 in Wrexham) and married to Jane (?) Samuel (born approx 1811 in Wrexham) before 1851 when they resided in Wrexham Regis. He was a butcher and lived in the Beast Market. The only information I have on him is from the 1851 and 1861 Wales Census. Looks as if the names fluctuates from Samuel to Samuels between the two dates. Children are William, Thomas (my GGF), Edward Jane and Elizabeth.

Thank you very much in advance.

Hi
There are no census returns for 1841 for the Wrexham area, as these are missing.  There is however a transcription booklet produced by Clwyd FHS for Wrexham town so you may be in luck. :)
