I am doing my family tree, i have been doing it the last 2 years on and off i have done a lot and this site has been a godsend the family on my grandmothers father side is almost done but there are a few things i need to make sure i have right.
Thomas Hyde married a Mary armytage on The 26th June 1803 at st Michael's church ashton under lyne.
i have the marriage certificate but from this year there are no witnesses or there ages on it they had 8 children i have found john 1804 Ann 1805 Sarah 1807 thomas 1809 Andrew 1812 Henry 1814 George 1816 Eliza 1818 i think all the children were born in ashton under lyne they all were baptised at the same church where thomas and Mary were married.
I need to find out the ages of thomas and Mary and where they were born i dont know how i am going to find out this can anyone help.

The 1851 census shows a Thomas HYDE age 74 and his wife Mary HYDE age 73 living at 1 Avon Street Ashton Under Lyne Stalybridge.
Birth years shown are 1777 and 1778 respectively.

i am not sure i will have to check the marriages again to see if there are anymore Thomas and Marys married around the time they were married ;D

i have the marriage certificate but from this year there are no witnesses or there ages on it
Unfortunately for us pre 1837 marriage registers do not give ages but they normally have 2 witnesses
-
unfortunately they are 3 marriages on one page and they all have the same witnesses on them but on the same page there is a George armytage which would be Marys brother i think but that doesn't help me with Thomas ???

According to the IGI there are 2 more children born to a Thomas Hyde and Mary,St Michales, Ashton. another Sarah ch.16.7.1820 and a Cyrus ch. 23.2.1823
I have found Cyrus in 1851 married and in 1841 with his mother Mary, no mentioned of Thomas, so he may well be deceased by then, I was hoping to find him to see if it would give us any clues to his birth. :(
1841 HO107/532/12/18/19/33 Mary's aged 58 making her born c 1782/3
1851 HO107/2231/184/18 Cyrus is aged 29 making him born c 1821/2

Working on the assumption that Thomas was around the same age as Mary the IGI have this extracted christening record.
Thomas Hyde ch. 16.4.1781 St. Michael, Ashton Under Lyne
Father Thomas Mother Ann
