Hi, with the upcomming marriage of William and Catherine a number of people, including myself, if we have any royal blood in our selves.
I beliece that the standard used is Burkes law of land ownership.
Is there any chance that I would be part royal.

Do you have any particular reason to suspect you may be? Have you traced your ancestry sufficiently far back for it to be a possibility??

Carole W, I am a distance relative of the late Frederik 5 Norway/Denmark. One of his wifes was the daughter of King George 2 of England.

These sites have royal and noble family trees, http://genealogy.euweb.cz/index.html
It is not uncommon for people of British ancestry to descend from some Royal or other. It has been said by some that all English descent from Edward I and all Scots from Malcolm III. Therefore there is no particular cachet in having any royal ancestors, but proving it is another matter entirely!
