Hi CAK

There are some inscriptions here www.gravestonephotos.com/public/cemetery.php?cemetery=916 for St Nicholas Buccleuch Churchyard in Dalkeith. It's the only Dalkeith cemetery showing on that site.

Hi
Another Dalkeith cemetery is New Dalkeith Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Dalkeith, Midlothian. Try Midlothian council for plans or Dalkeith Library?

Try the local studies library at Loanhead this is where a group called " Recording Angles " meet, they have done quite a few in the area and I am sure they might be able to help you, or if you phone or email the Library either ask or for the attention of Dr. Ken Bogle he is a really nice lad I am sure he will look for you.

Cheers.

Archie.

I have used the Local Studies centre at Loanhead and have consulted a register with all the burials in the the old and new Dalkeith cemeteries. Ken Bogle also photocopied a plan of the cemetery for me so you can easily find the plot you are looking for.
