I have a photograph taken at one of my parents' 60th wedding anniversary celebrations, and I'd like to use it in DVD I'm making about their life together as a couple. The DVD is a surprise for their 70th wedding anniversary, which is coming up in a few weeks' time.
While I really like the photo of my Mum and Dad, the background is very junky, and I'm wondering if it could be changed so that what you really see is just my Mum and Dad.
I'll really appreciate any help, and I do have a bigger file if that is of assistance.

What a beautiful photo of them on their 60th anniversary, Dee ... and what a lovely idea for a gift for the 70th jubilee :) ... wonderful milestone ( please don't read that as millstone :P )
... nice work Hippy and Carolyn :) mare

I thought it was rather special, Mare......just didn't like to use it with the junky background. At that time they were still playing tennis every week, and they had a celebration lunch in the clubrooms. ;D
Hippy and Carolyn have made a vast improvement. :D

Can't do the special effects yet Dee - here's a rather plain one! :-\ It's such a happy photo isn't it!

I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes......you are all such talented people, and I know my Mum especially will think so when she eventually sees all your work. I will use one for the DVD and I'll make a special "book" card with all the rest, so that my Mum at least sees them all. (Mr Dee is legally blind so has very limited vision.)
All I can say is a great big thankyou.......and after their anniversary, which is not for a few weeks yet, I'll post a photo of the occasion for you all to see. We're only having a very quiet celebration this time, due to their health problems.
Thankyou wonderful people...... :D :D :D

Just to let all you kind folk know that the 70th Anniversary celebrations went off very well indeed......well, mostly anyway.
Your pictures you so kindly did for me were a huge hit on the series of cards I made for Mr and Mrs Dee. The staff at the Aged Care facility where Mr Dee resides had set up tables with decorations in a little private section for us, and one of the bridesmaids and one of the groomsmen were also present. There were congratulatory letters and cards from all sorts of people, including beautiful cards from her Majesty the Queen and our Australian Governor General. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon and lots more photos were taken, including the one I've added here.
I do have to report that the DVD is an ongoing project however, as I bit off more than I could chew in the time I had. :-\
However, it will be completed as soon as I can.
