Hi everyone,

Can anyone help me access the records of someone in the great war 1914- 1918

His name was Thomas James Taylor born about 1876 He was in the Labour corps and his regimental number was 126722 .

any help would be greatly appreciated

There is a Medal Roll Index card for him but looks like his service record has not survived.  Over 60% of WW1 records were destroyed in the WW2 blitz

MRIC shows 2 service numbers  126722, exg/54683 and he was a Private  in the Labour Corps Eastern Comm, ex QRW Sur

Enlisted 26.5.1917 discharged as sick 12.3.1918 and was awarded the Victory and British medals
