Can anyone decipher the photographer's initials? - it is a County Antrim village.
Any idea of date?
Would it be possible to make any improvements especially with the people posing?
-
Is this the bit you are referring to ?
What I can see looks like RH,RK KK,KH or UK ;D
-
The only writing I can see is:
Carncastle Village 16027 UK

Carncastle Village 16027 UK
that is what i see

that is exactly what i see

It's "Cairncastle", not "Carncastle", but apart from that, nothing to indicate photographer apart from the initials which might just be part of the photographer's code for the pic :-\
Is there a particular reason for wanting to know the photographer?
-
I think you're looking at a date of late 1890's - early 1900's.
The number is a ref. no.
This is a stock photo rather than one commissioned.

According to the blurb this is the Presbyterian Church.

Thank you all for your input. I thought that if I had the full refernce at the bottom of the photograph, I would be able to locate the original and discover date and photographer.. If it reads 16027uk, is it possible trace it?
The scan that I have is taken fron the site you listed, Pru- unfortunately I don't have a website,

Hi Paul,
Just wanted to check that the photo was not copyright to the owner of that website. Did you get their permission to download it?
SOrry to sound officious, but we have to be careful about copyright.
Cheers
