Please can anyone help. We have a John RUMFORD who came from Hutton Bushel, who we believe to have been born in about 1790. We have three children from him and his wife Elizabeth, but cannot locate the marraige. We believe we have found them in the 1841 census but he appears to be married to a Mary. Ideally it would be good to find Elizabeth's burial too..
Any help greatly appreciated.

what makes you think the john you found in 1841 is yours
there is this marriage
john rumford/mary inman were married on the 18th oct 1823 (there is also another entry giving the date as 23/10/1823)at hutton bushell, yorkshire
ext.rec. I.G.I.
so the eldest child ann aged 18 in 1841 is probably the daughter of john/mary
the only marriage of a john/elizabeth that possibly could be them is
john rumford/elizabeth garbut were married on the 27th nov 1806 at danby in cleveland yorkshire
ext.rec.
