In the 1901 census my great-uncle is a pupil at Roebuck Masonic School Dundrum, Dublin. I've been trying to find out some information about the school online but various sites mention Richview, Clonskeagh, Dublin. Are they one and the same place? If so, does anyone know where I could access the records of the school ?
In 1911 my G-Uncle is a teacher at The Tate School In Wexford, owned by Charles Bain who had been a teacher at the Roebuck Masonic School in 1901. Again I have no other information other than the building, I think, is now part of UCD.

The school was located in the north western corner of the townland of Roebuck, near to the bridge over the river Dodder. The building and estate was known as Richview
see : http://www.histografica.com/view.aspx?p=83w4ywh3
and the OSI map : Richview (http://maps.osi.ie/publicviewer/#V1,717530,730430,7,9)
The building and grounds are now part of UCD - I think it's currently used as a Library
dont know anything about any records sorry...

There's a website for past pupils and their ancestors at : http://richviewmasonicschool.com/
They may be able to advise on any old records that might be available.

The Masons have a full time archivist in their Molesworth St Lodge who may be able to help as well.
