Hi
Welcome to rootschat :)
Perhaps if you tell us what you are looking for (with dates) we can help you.
I see from your other post http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,526754.msg3816648.html#msg3816648 that the answer given was of no help.

Well i know that my gran (Phyllis Hancock) was born in the year1923 and that 1 of her brothers was born about 1934 called Gordon and there was another brother called William. So any information about them and their parents and more would be very helpful!

Have you looked at this :-\

I suspect that recent records for Guernsey will not be available online for the one of the same reasons that Rootschat doesn't allow posting details of living, or possibly living, people- privacy.
The website The Mc posted originally looks helpful and explains that civil registration of marriages started in 1919, etc. That website also gives lists of available parish registers, etc.

Thank you aghadowey!!!
I thought the website was a mine of info for Channel Island researchers so I am glad you thinks so too!

cat 1981,
The address that you need for births on Guernsey is as follows:
Kieth Robillard
Senior Clerk to the Strongroom
The Greffe
Royal Court
St Peter Port
Gurnsey
GY1 2PB.
They charge £5 for a search and £19 for a certificate I hope that this helps.

Sorry I forgot to say that if you send the details that you need to know to the name and address that I have already posted make your cheque payable to The States of Guernsey sorry that I do not have a direct e-mail address at the moment as I have mislaid it but the address is what all you need.
