Hi

I thought it looks like Abton  -  I wonder whether it's meant to be Abingdon (if you say it quickly)

Hi

It could be Aston (Nr Henley)  :)  When and where did he marry.

Ignore that one - I thought I had him in 1841 unmarried but he was a schoolmaster.  ::)

I am not sure where the records would be if not at Oxfordshire - it is getting close to the Bekshire border there. Sorry not much help.

Hi

In 1841 Richard and Mary are living in Lower Heyford, Oxfordshire..
Lower Heyford is next door to?
North, Middle and Steeple ASTON.
HO 107 / 886 / 5 / 13 / 19-20, Oxfordshire, Lower Heyford, District 6, Page 10

Maybe this one should be locked?

Prev posting now deleted.......
I see it as Alton,
however there is
Aston (Stevenage)
and
Aston Clinton (Tring)
