Thought I'd have a go at restoring a photo - I'm trying to learn how to use Photoshop. I thik it's over-exposed, but I haven't got there with changing the exposure without losing detail. Anyway, here's my 1st effort:

Hi - having a try! It's an odd one this :-\
- It shows as very high resolution on the download - but it still pixelates (OK so how do you spell it? ;)) quite quickly when enlarged - Someone who knows more about things might be able to say why. It isn't brilliant - but . . . . :)
Cross fingers while it comes up on this screen - nah - that's horrible - take it off! Sorry :-[

Hi.....One from me also.

Such a lovely photo, I had to have a splash with the paint.

Can I just say THANK YOU to everyone who has worked on this photo, I printed out a quick copy for my Dad and he was gobsmacked, the original photo is very small and as far as we know is the only photo of my grandmother. we believe it was taken in a local park where my greatgrandfather was groundskeeper.

That sounds about right urrp, it looks like an ornamental fountain behind her.

thank you, will show this to my dad tomorrow, the garden she is standing in has a memorial to soldiers killed in action before ww1, it was really overgrown but recently it has been restored.
-
Hope it's the right colour :)
Glad that the garden has been restored. It's so sad when gardens run wild.
