Ello,
I wonder if any of you talented people could take the creases and biro marks out of this Picture. This is my Great Uncle standing proudly next to his Welsh School Boys Cap for Football. He also played cricket Rugby and was an athlete of some repute at the young age of 13. He was sadly killed five years later
 saving his fathers life from a runaway dram in the pit. His headstone read Sid run his last race to save another.
Just thought i would tell you a little about the person in the photograph.

What a tragic story about young Sid  :'(

To do him justice we are going to need a better image to work with.  This one is very small.  Have a read of the tutorial here:

It will give you tips for scanning, resizing and posting which will hopefully help you to post the best photo possible for the restorers to work on.

Hi Welsh :)

It's bigger, but not really better.  It's very blurred, and only 96 ppi.  Unfortunately if you were emailed a small picture, making it bigger won't help.  The restorers will obviously only be able to work with what you have, but a better scan would have yielded better results.
