Ivy, don't worry about the others on the page.
Manchester register office will have different register numbers which is why they could not issue you the certificate with the numbers 8d 127. 8d and 127 are reference numbers for obtaining the certificate from the General Register Office.
Deaths Jun 1873 (not 1863 as you said)
Byron Daniel 28 Manchester 8d 127
Hagin Maria 16 Manchester 8d 127
Jepson William 64 Oldham 8d 127
Kerwin Mary 37 Manchester 8d 127
Larkin Thomas 46 Manchester 8d 127
Livesey Ann 68 Manchester 8d 127
McGloughlin John 20 Manchester 8d 127
Mosdell James 13 Manchester 8d 127
Vernon Samuel George 62 Manchester 8d 127
WROE Frances 74 Manchester 8d 127
WYNNE Margaret 2 Manchester 8d 127
Byron Daniel
age: 28
district: Manchester
volume: 8d
page: 127
You can order the certificate here using your credit card:
http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/
You will need the district/volume and page numbers mentioned above.
Some information on what you might find on death certificates (ie not very much ;)):

Good luck Ivy. :) Just double check that you have numbers and spellings correct when you fill in the form, or they won't issue it. ;)

Hi Ivy
The reference number to purchase the death certificate for Daniel Byron from the Manchester Registration Office is ANC/119/145 They should have no trouble finding it with this reference number. Source is LancashireBMD http://www.lancashirebmd.org.uk/
