Would love to find more info on the following:
Sarah Jane Henshaw 1851 Castle Donington - William Booth Aston-on-Trent 1848
I am trying to find information regarding the above couple who lived at Red Thorn Farm/House 298 Village St, Normanton Derby.

Another researcher has suggested that Sarah founded the first Music Hall in Derby - The Pavilion - although I cant find any info on this.
Any help much appreciated.

Hello,
The address you quote from the 1901 Census, i.e. 298 is NOT a house number but
the inumerators number so nothing to do with the actual address.

For local cinemagoers there was another venue to take in when the £30,000 Cavendish cinema opened on the site of the old Pavilion music hall which had burned down in 1929.
The Pavilion had been erected in 1908 by Offiler’s brewery, who also owned the Cavendish Hotel pub opposite, which they had opened not long before.
