Hi I am trying to find links to this couple who were married 1851 Holy Trinity
Church of Ireland, Seapatrick, Banbridge, Down. I don't know if they were from this district. Their daughter Martha Jane was born 1853 Dormore Parish.
They move to Ayr Scotland sometime after the birth of Martha, the next child James was born 1856 in Ayr, Scotland.
John's father was James Copeland and his mother was Martha Cowan,
his wife's parents were Andrew Walker & Isabella Lyons.
Any ideas would be great.
Thank you.

Have you got John and Isabella's marriage certificate? It should give their addresses on it, and you can go on from there.

Just a comment about the witnesses- there's really no such thing as husband's witness and bride's witness although at least one pay website lists the witnesses this way.

Here is a link to Griffith's Valuation of reland 1863/4 for Seapatrick Parish.
http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths/down/seapatrick.php
You will see that there are Copelands living in the Parish, and also Cowans in the Townland of Dooghary, so probably that is where John was working Iwith family) at his marriage.
Andrew Walker is listed in the Townland of Tullyconnaught. So, it looks as if this is where your people came from.
Here is a link to a handdrawn map of the Parish which shows the position of all the Townlands. This is a wonderful sit. Explore!!
